Gentrification has caused a major whitewashing of culture in DC. The Go-Go are fighting to bring the rich culture back to the forefront. We created identities for well-known DC neighborhoods to further celebrate the city.
Spec Work
Jerseys for DC Neighborhoods
We’ll create jerseys designed for four, well-known D.C. neighborhoods: U Street, Columbia Heights, Shaw and Foggy Bottom. Jerseys will be worn by players during games. They will also be available for fans to purchase so they can rep their neighborhood.
Courts for DC Neighborhoods
Basketball courts will also be designed for people within those communities.

To better connect with the community, the team will go out into DC neighborhoods and play pickup basketball at local courts. The team will use Twitter and Instagram to drop hints about where they are on a particular day.
